RE: Public Records Request
Hello Mr. White, Respectfully, I have responded to your request in accordance with state law and OSLAB administrative rule. Per the Oregon Dept. of Justice Attorney General's Public Records and Meetings Manual (2024, p. 6) which state agencies are generally directed to follow: "The Public Records Law does not require public bodies to create new public records. Nor does it require public bodies to disclose the reasoning behind their actions; answer questions about their records; analyze their records; or perform legal research in order to identify records that are responsive to a request." Sincerely, [Board Administrator], Board Administrator, OSLAB
