In accordance with ORS 192.324(2), this acknowledges our receipt of your October 31, 2026, request for the following information:

*   All communications sent to or received from Oregon State Police Government and Media Relations contacts (Captain Kyle Kennedy and OSP Public Information Officer) that contain the terms "threat assessment," "situational awareness," "welfare check," "knock and talk," or "grievance" from January 1, 2023, through the date of the search. Requested records include emails, Microsoft Teams messages, text messages, voicemail messages, attachments, and replies.
*   All records documenting the searches conducted to locate responsive records, including search queries, parameters, accounts and locations searched, date ranges, result counts, and any related reports or exports.
*   The request excludes records concerning the requester.

Having reviewed your request, we are able to inform you Oregon Correction Enterprises is the custodian of at least some of the requested records and will complete its processing of your request as soon as practicable and without unreasonable delay.
