“Process my request as received on October 27, 2026.”
He writes about his emailed request of October 27, 2026, and tells the agency, “Process my request as received on October 27, 2026.”
Public Records Officer,
On October 28, 2026, you wrote: “DPSST is only receiving records requests through our portal in GovQA..”1
You wrote it in reply to my email of October 27, 2026, which carried my written request.2 You have my request. I am not going to submit it again. The Attorney General’s manual for public bodies says: “A public body’s legal obligation to respond to a public records request is triggered by receipt of a written request.”3 Your reply is the receipt.
Process my request as received on October 27, 2026. Follow the statute [ORS 192.324(1)].
Thank you for your contribution to the record.
