I want to personally thank you for such a timely and substantive response to my public records request.

My experiences have led me to an interest I did not expect to have, in public records law and its administration. I am particularly curious about how a statute written for paper has been adopted in the modern era, when the records are email and the requests pass through portals, intake forms, and shared inboxes, and each agency has built its own practice around the same law. Your office is the one place that sees that practice across all of them. Your reports to the Advisory Council are the first cross-agency picture of it I have found, and I will be reading them closely.

You are contributing to a valuable public project and I thank you for the public access you have provided here. We all benefit by understanding how our government conducts itself when the public asks it to account for itself.
