Beginning Monday, October 26, 2026, the Department will temporarily pause its acceptance of new and amended permit and certificate applications, transfer of permit applications, and requests for closure. This pause is being implemented in support of the transition to the Department’s new electronic permitting system, DEPS. The pause is expected to remain in effect until the applicable DEPS modules launch early 2027. Applicants are encouraged to prepare their materials in advance for submission through DEPS.
