PUBLIC QUESTION 0

What does the State of Oregon write about a citizen, and how does it use the public records law to keep it from him?
In 2025 I volunteered at Oregon State Parks. After a minor conflict with the park supervisor, she targeted me, and I documented it. One week before I was scheduled to leave, the park manager dismissed me from my post. I spoke publicly about it, and two days later the program manager banned me permanently, ending a year of volunteer placements I had lined up.
I sought accountability from the executive branch: the program manager, the director, the commissioners, the governor. They ignored me. Then, without notice, on the anniversary of the dismissal, three men drove sixty-eight minutes to stand at my door, behind a locked gate, at a restricted federal facility, posted against public access, to tell me I was “not in trouble.”
I documented that too. Then I asked for the records. This is how the State of Oregon responded.
